Our not believing that a person like Howard Roark can exist shows our lack of faith in humanity. Even if there isnt one Howard Roark for every Peter Keating, there definitely has to be one Howard Roark for all the Peter Keatings in the world and that is a good enough reason to make this world a more beautiful place. Also, hating a Toohey is not the solution, standing against one and changing the system, is what the world needs.
Making a stand is so tough, there are so many internal and not so important external battles to be fought. I say not so important for external because 1st step is always the hardest and here the first step is an internal war, against my own sleeping conscience and standing for my own principles. I think I have forgotten how to do that ... time to bring that out again ... time to be ME ... nothing more, nothing less, JUST me !
