In nature, there are never any gray areas.
It is always :::
- black OR white
- good OR bad
- awake OR asleep
- happy OR sad
- satisfied OR unsatisfied
- in control OR not in control
- aware OR unaware
- living in present OR not living in present
- doing something OR doing nothing
- enlightened or unenlightened
Unless this distinction is clear, a side is chosen, self-evaluation is completed and mindset is uncluttered there can be no progress. Feigned progress maybe ... but definitely no real progress.

I think there are many shades in nature rather than just black & white.And each of this shades are unique & independent no correlation. Actually we are trying to relate each shade with basic color. But I guess each moment is unique in its own way.

That is true that there are shades but that distorts the view IMHO. Keeping it the basic colors (black and white) covers everything and also lets us know where we stand
