Seeker's thoughts ...

From Darkness to Light, Dependence to Freedom, Fear to Fearlessness ....

3. Do not crave for recognition

First of all ... there is a difference between craving for recognition and aiming big ... one shouldnt be confused with the other.

Why should what another human being feel about you or about what you do bother/affect you in any way?
Are we that shallow/not confident of ourselves that somebody else should give his/her sign of approval for us to feel good about ourselves or about what we do?

Coming back to the main point ... the same pattern continues ... in craving attention we start depending on others ... what do they think of me ... how can I make them feel better about me ... its not about me anymore, its about them ... and there goes our peace of mind.
