5. Change yourself according to the environment

Adaptation is the key to peace of mind. One can never be happy unless he adapts to whatever the situation around him is.

Doesn't mean if your goals lie someplace else and you are stuck in a totally different place you should feel contented about it. You should adapt to that situation, use it to your advantage so you reach your goal faster. Cribbing about the unpleasant environment won't help at all.

Instead, staying focused on one's goal and working towards it inspite of the environment helps one maintain his sanity and peace of mind.
