the Truth about Lies
The truth is rarely pure, and never simple. -- Oscar Wilde
A lie can go just one way. Its always intended to mislead the other person. Now the outcome we desire might be different each time: sometimes it might just be for fun, sometimes to get the other person off our back, sometimes it may be used to project ourselves as something we are not or sometimes it might be downright malicious.
On second thoughts, there is nothing like a for-the-better lie, there exists a "NO" for such occasions. Even considering to lie, as an alternative if everything else fails, is so so weak !
Do circumstances makes you lie? I think not ... its your lack of faith in the other person. Lies arent bad just because they might hurt the other person ... many times they dont; but lies are bad because they hurt you ... because you become morally hollow ... because you lose all your self-esteem, not in others' eyes but in your own eyes.
There is no bottom to worse ...
