Phases

Every phase of life comes for it to pass. Some phases might last for a day, a week, a month, a year or even maybe a bit more than that, but they always pass. In the middle of a phase we might think that this is how my life is going to be till I die, no matter how sure we are that this phase is gonna last forever ... that things wont change around me ... we are always proven wrong.

Friends, relations, circumstances all make up a phase and changes in any or all of them mark the beginning of a new phase and end of the earlier one. We might think during a phase that how will I survive if things change ... what will I do ... I don't want this to end ... the harder we try to hold onto it, the faster it slips out of our grip.

The only way for a smooth transition from one phase to another is to understand that even this will go away and enjoy it while it lasts. The key is to either adapt or not react at all (no reaction is a way of adaptation, but over here I am differentiating between the two). This key makes the transition a piece of cake ... else ... well else we can always find it out for ourselves.
