Deconstructing life

A sleight of hand
And movements frantic,
A swish of the wand,
Now that’s called magic!

An illusion grand
Accompanying a new gimmick,
Leaving people stunned;
Could he really be psychic?

But for the one in command -
It’s just plain karmic
And all too well-planned -
Although seemingly cryptic!
