Happiness can only be obtained from within oneself and that's the only place it is found.
I cannot get it from someone else how much ever I want.
No one else can give it to me how much ever they want.
I cannot obtain it from any situation how much ever I want.
No situation can give it to me. Period.
Me, and me alone, can make myself happy.
Same holds for being sad/getting hurt.
Me, and me alone, can bring myself sadness and hurt myself.
This concept needs as much repetition as possible and then some more as I just don't seem to get it.
I am still looking for happiness outside. I am still getting hurt/being sad by situations and people's reactions.
Only when I realize this will I no longer be sad or get hurt.
Only when I realize this will I be happy. Truly.
